About the cinema
Event Cinemas Moonlight Cinema Brisbane is the seasonal open-air cinema run by Event Cinemas in Brisbane, Australia. It operates during the warmer months as a single-screen outdoor venue held in the city's parklands, presenting mainstream feature films, family sessions and special events. The pop-up site typically offers deckchair seating, space for bring-your-own picnics, on-site food trucks and licensed bars. Moonlight Cinema is part of a national summer series of outdoor film events rather than a permanent multiplex, providing a relaxed, festival-style movie experience close to Brisbane's CBD.
