ACMI (Australia Centre for the Moving Image)

ACMI (Australia Centre for the Moving Image) is located at Federation Square on Flinders Street in Melbourne CBD. It is Australia’s national museum and cultural centre for screen culture, combining exhibition spaces with cinema programming. ACMI presents retrospectives, festivals, art-house and contemporary film screenings, special events, talks and educational programs exploring film, television and digital media. Housed within Federation Square, it is easily reached from Flinders Street Station and sits near the Yarra River.
