About the cinema
Event Cinemas Moonlight Cinema Sydney is a seasonal outdoor cinema located in Centennial Park in Sydney. Operated under the Event Cinemas banner, Moonlight Cinema offers summer open-air screenings on a large outdoor screen with lawn seating and a limited number of reserved seats. The program typically includes family-friendly films, new releases, themed nights and special events, supported by on-site bars and food trucks. It is an outdoor, picnic-style experience rather than a multiplex format — no IMAX auditoriums — and is popular for relaxed evening screenings during the warmer months.
